GemThane™ Siding Systems are backed by all-inclusive Product Replacement Warranties. In each case, we warrant that the Polymer Coating System will perform as intended so as to protect the wood substrate from the elements. Period. Should this not be the case, GemThane will gladly supply additional coating or, as necessary, will replace any and all siding that has degraded by virtue of coating failure. We’ll also cover labour (see Warranties for details). Unlike most warranties on the market, GemThane’s coverage is not limited to a handful of situations such as delamination or blistering, but is very broad in scope.

Solid (opaque) colours are covered for as long as you own the property. You have two choices:

lifetime warranty
Both the coating and the wood are covered with no time limit. In
addition, labour coverage is provided for five years. The Owner
takes care of annual inspection and touch-up of any area where wood
is exposed by reason of physical damage, movement or other causes.
The enhanced
“Never Lift a Finger” Warranty
Warranty covers coating, wood and labour with no time limit. If the
topcoat ever needs to be refreshed, the cost is covered by the
warranty. To qualify for this coverage, the Owner retains GemThane
to carry out the annual inspection and touch-up at a reasonable
cost.
Hint-O-Tint™ semi-transparent sidings are covered by a ten-year pro-rated
warranty on the coatings and 5 years pro-rated on labour.
Concerned About Fading?
Being polymer-based, your GemThane coating will resist fading and erosion for
three to five times longer than traditional paint-based finishes. Nothing else
even comes close.
